Stroud Maternity Matters (SMM) – Facebook group for parents to be and new parents.SMM are providing important updates for people during pregnancy and early parenting – you can join their private group to receive updates, ask questions, and to join conversations:
“We are a community group who believe that the maternity services offered in Stroud are special and need to be preserved. In 2006 the group kept the Maternity Unit from being axed, and with the proposed changes to the NHS, some areas of the service are under threat again. We aim to help keep Stroud maternity services brilliant and do what we can to improve the service for Stroud families. This is also a place to ask about services at the Unit and we will do our best to answer or point you towards someone who can.”
“If you have direct feedback intended for the maternity service in Stroud, Cheltenham or Gloucester, please don’t leave it on here. Instead, send us a message and we can direct you to where your input can be properly registered and forwarded to the relevant department.”
