- Raphy Mendoza shared that she’d like to procure some good quality reusable face coverings. “I’d prefer to support a local business/maker rather than buying them online. By good quality I mean I didn’t make it myself with my less than desirable sewing skills. Preferably, they loop around the ears rather than tied behind the head. I have a lot of hair. Preferably, they are available in black. If I have to wear the things, I want to also at least be able to pretend to be a ninja and fulfil a childhood dream. I’d like to buy a few. My commitment to laundry is as strong as my sewing talents.”https://www.facebook.com/groups/stroudcorona/permalink/288048805716214/
- Louise Sellars asks does anyone know who to ring to sew if results are back from a home test kit? Mine was negative from a drive through test centre but want to make sure the other is negative before we stop isolating. Thanks https://www.facebook.com/groups/stroudcorona/permalink/287887469065681/
- Hannah Lansdowne Is anyone concerned for their children’s education? “I know in our school there is no way they can bring back all year groups and socially distance, current reception, yr 1, 6 and keyworkers taking up all classrooms. This doesn’t look like it is going anywhere soon should we prioritise education or opening pubs? I know it’s a complicated and delicate balance but I know for one with one keyworker working full time and me trying to home school and work aswell the children’s education has definitely suffered.Could we bring on student teachers like we did with nurses. Could we commandeer local buildings in the area, town hall, churches, community centres as places for extra classrooms? Be interested in thoughts?”https://www.facebook.com/groups/stroudcorona/permalink/287166505804444/
